“球春”到了
樱花已经落下了，然后棒球的季节开始了，日语里把这叫做“球春。
我不太对日本棒球感兴趣，但是特别爱纽约Yankees20多年了。
这几年Yankees的粉丝感到很失望。球队里有很多老球员，他们已经过了体能最佳的时候，所以球队的成绩一直在下降。
但是今年的Yankees是不同的。老球员退休了，年轻球员加入了。我相信球队的成绩会上升，期待看到他们有活力地打球。
今年“球春”充满了希望。
“Baseball Spring” Has Come
Cherry blossoms have already fallen, and thus the baseball season begins.This season is called “球春 (baseball spring)” in Japanese.
I am not very interested in Japanese baseball, but I really have been in love with the New York Yankees for more than twenty years.
These past several years Yankees fans have felt disappointed. There were full of old players who already had passed their peaks, and the result of the teams had been going down.
However, this year's Yankees is not the same at all. Old players retired, and many young players joined. I believe that their result must go up, and I am looking forward to seeing them playing with much vigor.
This “baseball spring” is full of hope.
球春到来
桜の花が散り、野球のシーズンが始まった。日本語では「球春」と呼んでいる。
日本の野球にはほとんど関心がないが、ニューヨーク・ヤンキースは20年以上大好きだ。
ここ数年、ヤンキースファンは失望してきた。チームはベテランばかりで、彼らは最盛期を過ぎていた。チームの成績は下降する一方だった。
しかし、今年のヤンキースは違っている。ベテランは引退し、若い選手が入団した。チームの成績が上昇すると信じている。選手がいきいきとプレイするのを見るのが楽しみだ。
今年の球春は、希望に満ちている。
花风暴"花嵐"
日本有一个习俗叫“お花見”,“お花見”的意思是樱花下的宴会。
上个周末樱花在东京盛开了，可是天气很冷，下雨了。有的人会失望，因为不能参加"お花見"了。
上个星期天在从我家去游泳池的路上，我在一个有樱花树的小公园停下了。樱花盛开了，但是没有人在那里。雨水的拍打下，樱花静静地飘散。樱花被风吹散，日语中叫做"花嵐"。字面上的意思是”花风暴“。
虽然我不能参加"お花見"，但是对这个"花嵐"的风景感到非常满意。我觉得在所有与樱花相关的风景里”花嵐“最漂亮。
Flower Storm
In Japan there is a custom called “お花見 (ohanami)”, which means a outdoor party under cherry blossoms. Last weekend cherry blossoms are fully bloomed in Tokyo, but a cold rain is falling. Some people would be disappointed because they can’t have a “お花見 (ohanami).”
Last Sunday on my way from my home to a swimming pool, I stopped at a small park where cherry trees were planted. Although cherry blossoms were fully bloomed, nobody was there. I saw a cold rain made cherry blossoms fall in silence.
It is called “花嵐 (hanaarasi)” in Japanese that the wind blows cherry blossoms away. It literally means flower storm.
I couldn’t have a “お花見 (ohanami),” but I was really satisfied with seeing “花嵐 (hanaarasi).” I believe that “花嵐 (hanaarasi)” is most beautiful in cherry blossoms scenes.
花嵐
日本には「お花見」という習慣がある。「お花見」は、桜の花の下の宴会のことである。先週末、東京では桜が満開だけれど、冷たい雨が降っていた。お花見ができなくてがっかりした人もいるだろう。
この前の日曜日、家からスイミング・プールに行く道すがら、桜の木がある小さな公園に立ち寄った。桜は満開だったけれど、誰もいなかった。冷たい雨のなか、桜の花が静かに舞っているのを見た。
お花見はできなかったけれど、この花嵐の景色を見ることができてとても満足だ。桜の景色のなかで、花嵐がいちばんきれいだと思う。
樱花盛开了
樱花象征日本的春天。
通常樱花在东京三月下旬盛开。上个星期天，四月二号，我走从我家走到神田川看樱花。
神田川在早稻田大学附近，河边的樱花非常漂亮。这一季节樱花有名的地方太热闹，但是神田川不很有名，可以静静地看樱花。
但是今年春天挺冷，所以樱花还没盛开。我终于找到比较盛开的樱花，拍了一张樱花的照片。
今天，四月五号，晴天和暖和，午休时候我去日枝神社看樱花。日枝神社是在东京神社里最古老的。
樱花刚才盛开了，很多人拍照。我也在日枝神社的门口拍了一张樱花的照片。
樱花让我很高兴。春天已经到了。
Cherry Blossoms have fully bloomed.
Cherry blossoms are symbol of Japanese spring.
Usually in Tokyo cherry blossoms fully bloom late March, so last Sunday, April 2, I walked from my home to Kanda River to watch cherry blossoms.
Kanda River is near Waseda University, and cherry blossoms on the river side is really beautiful. The place, which is famous for cherry blossoms, is crowded in this season, but Kanda River isn’t famous, so we can watch cherry blossoms peacefully.
But this spring was so cool that cherry blossoms hadn’t bloomed yet. I finally found fully bloomed cherry blossoms and took a photo of them.
Today, April 5, it is sunny and warm. At lunch break I went to Hie shrine to watch cherry blossoms. Hie shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Tokyo.
Cherry blossoms have just fully bloomed, and many people took photos. I also took a photo of cherry blossoms in front of the gate of Hie shrine.
Cherry blossoms made me happy. Spring has already arrived.
桜が満開になった
桜は日本の春を象徴している。
通常、東京では桜は３月の下旬に満開になる。この前の日曜日、4月2日に、わが家から神田川まで桜を見に歩いていった。
神田川は早稲田大学の近くにあり、川辺の桜は非常に美しい。この季節には、桜の名所は混雑しているけれど、神田川はそれほど有名ではないので、静かに桜を見ることができる。
しかし、今年の春はとても寒く、桜はまだ満開になっていなかった。ようやく、比較的満開に近い桜を発見して、桜の写真を撮った。
今日、4月5日、晴れて暖かだった。昼休みに日枝神社に桜を見に行った。日枝神社は東京でいちばん古い神社のひとつである。
桜はまさに満開になったところで、たくさんの人が写真を撮っていた。私も日枝神社の門前で桜の写真を撮った。
桜は気持ちを高めてくれる。もう春になった。
村上春树的小说《骑士团长杀人事件》的感想
之前的小说《1Q84》挑战性的，但是《骑士团长杀人事件》是保守的。
他的过去的小说是第一人称的，视点是“我”。他在《1Q84》试过了第三人称，视点是“他，她”。牛河在《1Q84》是一个新类型的人物。村上春树的过去的小说里还没有他这种类型人物。《1Q84》扩大了村上春树的世界。因为《1Q84》与他的以前的小说不一样，所以老粉丝感到了困惑。
《骑士团长杀人事件》回到了第一人称。这部小说里没有牛河这种类型的人物。《骑士团长杀人事件》像他的以前的小说，特别是《奇鸟行状录》。老粉丝可能比《1Q84》更喜欢《骑士团长杀人事件》。
我自己喜欢《1Q84》。我想看村上春树的新世界。
An Impression of Haruki Murakami’s novel “Murder of a Knight Commander”
His previous novel “1Q84” is ambitious, but “Murder of a Knight Commander” is conservative.
His old novels were written in the first person, from the standpoint “I.” He tried to write “1Q84” in the third person, from the standpoint of “he” or “she.” Ushikawa in “1Q84” was a new type of people. There was no this type of people in Haruki Murakami’s previous novels. “1Q84”broadened Haruki Murakami’s world. Old fans were confused, because “1Q84” wasn’t like his other novels.
“Murder of a Knight Commander” is back to the first person. Ushikwa type of people doesn’t appear in this novel. “Murder of a Knight Commander” is like his previous novels, especially “The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.” Old fans might like “Murder of a Knight Commander” more than “1Q84.”
I myself like “1Q84”. I want to read Haruki Murakami’s new world.
村上春樹の小説「騎士団長殺し」の感想
前作の「1Q84」は挑戦的だったけれど、「騎士団長殺し」は保守的だ。
彼の過去の小説は一人称だった。「私」の観点である。彼は「1Q84」で三人称に挑戦している。「彼」「彼女」の観点である。「1Q84」の牛河は、新しいタイプの人物だ。村上春樹の過去の小説のなかには、彼のタイプの人物は登場しない。
「1Q84」は村上春樹の世界を拡大した。「1Q84」は彼の以前の小説とは違っているので、昔からのファンは混乱した。
「騎士団殺し」は一人称に戻っている。この小説には牛河のような人物は登場しない。「騎士団長殺し」は彼の以前の小説に似ている。特に「ねじまき鳥クロニクル」に。昔からのファンは「1Q84」より「騎士団長殺し」を好むかもしれない。
好莱坞电影正在死亡：《爱乐之城》的影评
上个周末我和我太太一起去看了《爱乐之城》。
在这部电影的结尾有一个字幕“这部电影在好莱坞制作”。这是《爱乐之城》的主题。
男主人公塞巴斯汀是爵士钢琴家。他非常爱传统爵士乐，但是他说“爵士乐正在死亡”。
现在好莱坞电影也正在死亡。马特达蒙在中国主演张艺谋导演的电影《长城》，但是真的很难制作传统“好莱坞音乐电影”。
《爱乐之城》是很怀旧的。如果你喜欢旧“好莱坞音乐电影”，你就会喜欢这部电影。因为我喜欢旧美国文化，所以我也非常爱这部电影。
我应该为了了解现在的电影而去看《长城》，不是吗？
Hollywood Movie Is Dying : a Comment on the movie “La La Land”
Last weekend my wife and I went to watch the movie “La La Land.”
At the end of this movie there was a caption “This movie was made in Hollywood.” This is just the theme of the movie “La La Land.”
The hero of this movie, Sebstain, is a Jazz pianist. He really loves traditional Jazz music, but he said, “Jazz is dying now.”
Now the "Hollywood movie" is dying, too. Matt Damon played the main role of the movie “the Great Wall” directed by Zhang Yimou in China, but it is quite difficult to make a traditional“Hollywood musical movie.”
“La La Land” is very nostalgic. If you like old good “Hollywood musical movies,” you will like this movie. I love this movie very much, because I like old good American culture.
I should watch the movie “the Great Wall” in order to learn about a contemporary movie, should’nt I?
ハリウッド映画は死にかけている：「ラ・ラ・ランド」へのコメント
この前の週末、妻と一緒に「ラ・ラ・ランド」を見に行った。
この映画の終わりに「この映画はハリウッドで制作された」という字幕がでてくる。これこそがこの映画のテーマである。
男の主人公セバスチャンはジャズ・ピアニストである。彼は伝統的なジャズ・ミュージックを非常に愛しているけれど、「ジャズは死にかけている」とも言う。
現在、ハリウッド映画も死にかけている。マット・デイモンは中国で張芸謀監督の映画「長城」に主演しているが、伝統的な「ハリウッド・ミュージカル映画」を制作することはほんとうに難しい。
「ラ・ラ・ランド」はとてもノスタルジックだ。もし古き良き「ハリウッド・ミュージカル映画」が好きだったら、この映画を気に入ると思う。私は古き良きアメリカ文化が好きだから、この映画をとても気に入っている。
現在の映画を学ぶためには、「長城」を見るべきだろうか？
中国企业家在美国的成功故事
我每周都会听podcast的节目《How I Built This》。企业家在这个节目讲述他自己的故事。他们说的话经常很有意思。
上个星期的企业家是一个中国人，叫Mei Xu（因为这个节目用英文，所以我不知道她的名字是怎么用汉字写成的）。
她出生在中国的七十年代。当时每个人吃同样的饭 穿同样的衣服 没有人相互攀比。她被委任为外交官，她的英文学得很好。
但是，天安门事件之后，知识分子被认为是危险的人物，她随后被送到了小城。 她等了几年，她终于她得拿到了美国的签证。
她在美国时对百货商店的包装纸很着迷，因为当时中国没有美丽的包装纸。当她去百货商店时，她发现名牌货占据了衣服，但没有家庭用品。于是她决定从中国进口家庭用品。
她的进口的家庭用品其中有芬芳的蜡烛是最受欢迎的。她和她丈夫在美国成立了一家蜡烛公司，她姐姐在中国建了一家蜡烛厂。
她的名牌称作《Chesapeake Bay Candle》。
现在在百货商店，她会过去看看包装纸，然后卖她的蜡烛。
A Story of the Success of a Chinese Entrepreneur in the US
Every week I listen to a podcast program “How I Built This,” in which entrepreneurs talk about their own stories. Every story is quite interesting.
Last week’s entrepreneur was a Chinese called Mei Xu (because this program is in English, I don’t know her name in Chinese characters).
In 1970s she born in China. She said that at that age everybody in China ate same food and wore same clothes, so they didn’t have to envy each other.
Luckily she was educated as a diplomat, and mastered English. But after Tiananmen incident, intellectuals were recognized as dangerous, so she was sent to a small town in rural area. She had waited for several years, finally she got a US visa.
She was fascinated by wrapping paper of department stores in the US, because at that times there were no such beautiful wrapping paper in China.
While she went to department stores, she realized that brands occupied fashion but they didn’t occupy home goods. She decided to import home goods from China. In her imported home goods fragrance candles were most popular.
Her husband and she founded a candle company in the US and her sister built a candle factory in China. Her brand is “Chesapeake Bay Candle.”
Now department stores, where she used to go to see wrapping paper, are selling her candles.
中国の起業家がアメリカで成功した話
私は毎週ポッドキャストの番組「How I Built This」を聞いている。この番組では、起業家が自分のストーリーを話す。どの人の話もとても興味深い。
先週の起業家はメイ・スーという中国人だった（この番組は英語なので、彼女の名前をどう書くのかわからない）。
1970年代に中国で生まれた。彼女によると、当時の中国は、みな同じものを食べ、同じ服を着ていたから、お互いに羨む必要がなかったという。
幸運なことに、彼女は外交官としての教育を受け、英語をマスターした。しかし、天安門事件以降、知識人は危険視され、彼女は地方の小さな町に送られた。何年も待って、ようやく米国のビザを手に入れた。
アメリカでは、デパートの包装紙に魅了された。その当時、中国では美しい包装紙というものがなかったから。
彼女がデパートに通っているとき、ファッションはブランド品に占められていたけれど、家庭用品はそうではないことに気がついた。彼女は中国から家庭用品を輸入することに決めた。彼女が輸入した家庭用品のなかで香りつきのキャンドルがいちばん人気があった。
彼女と夫は米国にキャンドルの会社を設立し、彼女の妹は中国にキャンドルの工場を作った。彼女のブランドは、「Chesapeake Bay Candle」である。
現在、かつて彼女が包装紙を見に行ったデパートでは、彼女のキャンドルが売られている。
六年前东日本大地震
那一天我和父母还有太太在大宫，是一个东京的郊区，一起打高尔夫球。
因为我们在高尔夫球场感到强烈震感，所以我们回到了俱乐部。然后我们在电视上看到了海啸的消息。我不知道看到了什么。
因为所有电车停止，所以我们不能回到家。大宫站前面有很多的人。他们哪儿也不能去。我们在大宫站前面过了整晚，我们终于在清晨赶上出租车回到了家。
那一个月我在电视上看到了很多海啸和福岛核灾难的场景，情绪变得不稳定。我决定不看电视了。
目前我虽然过着平和的生活，但是不能忘记这些场景。
Six years ago the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred
At that day my parents, my wife and I played golf in Omiya, near Tokyo together. We felt a strong earthquake, so we came back to the club house. And then I watched the news about tsunami on TV. I couldn’t believe what I watched.
Because all the trains stopped, we couldn’t go back home. There were a lot of people who couldn’t go anywhere in front of Omiya station. We spent all night long in front of Omiya station, and at last we could catch a taxi to go back home.
I had watched so many scenes of the tsunami and the Fukushima nuclear disaster for a month, that my emotional state had became instable. I decided to stop watching TV.
Now I’m living a peaceful life, but I can’t forget these scenes at all.
六年前、東日本大震災が起こった
その日、私は両親と妻と一緒に東京の郊外にある大宮でゴルフをしていた。ゴルフ場で強い地震を感じたので、クラブハウスに戻った。その後、テレビで津波のニュースを見た。自分が見たものが信じられなかった。
すべての電車が止まっていたので、家に帰ることができなかった。大宮駅前にはとても多くの人がいた。彼らもみなどこにも行けなかった。大宮駅前で一夜を明かし、ようやくタクシーを捕まえて、家に帰ることができた。
一ヶ月の間、テレビで津波と福島原子力発電所事故の映像をたくさんみたので、情緒不安定になった。テレビを見ないことにした。
今は平和な生活を送っているけれど、あの場面は決して忘れることができない。
