现在我和太太在进行“断舍离”

“断舍离”是个日本的流行语。
“断”的意思是断购物，不买没用的东西。
“舍”的意思是舍东西，处理没用的东西。
“离”的意思是离物欲，抛弃对物质的欲望。

现在我和太太在进行“断舍离”。
我们处理没用的家具，不穿的衣服，不看的书。
买一个东西的话，就处理一个东西。

房间又宽敞又舒服，需要的东西立刻能找到。
从前我们家有很多没用的东西，其实需要的东西很少。
现在我们家只有需要的东西。

Now My Wife and I Are Doing “断拾离 (dan sha ri) .”

“断拾离(dan sha ri)” is one of Japanese buzzwords.
“断(dan)” means to stop shopping, not to buy unnecessary goods.
“拾(sha)” means to discard, to throw away unnecessary goods.
“离(ri)” means to leave desire, to throw away material desire.

Now my wife and I are doing “断拾离 (dan sha ri) .”
We disposed furniture that we wouldn’t use, clothes that we wouldn’t wear, and books that wouldn’t read.
When we buy one thing, we will throw away another thing.

Our rooms are spacious, and we feel nice. We can immediately get things we will use.
Once there were a lot of unnecessary goods in our house, and in fact there are few necessary goods.

Now there are only necessary good in our house.

今、夫婦で「断捨離」をしている

「断捨離」は日本の流行語だ。
「断」は、買物を断つ、いらないものを買わない、という意味だ。
「捨」は、モノを捨てる、不要なモノを処分する、という意味だ。
「離」は、物欲から離れる、物質的欲望を捨てる、という意味だ。

今、夫婦で「断捨離」をしている。
不要な家具、着ることがない服、読むことがない本を捨てている。
ひとつものを買ったら、ひとつものを処分している。

部屋が広くて気持ちがいい。必要なものがすぐ見つかる。
以前、私たちの家にはいらないものがたくさんあったが、必要なものは少しだけだった。

今、私たちの家には必要なものしかない。
